Based on the analysis of the traditional two-D surface roughness measuring instrument, combined with the development tendency of 3-D surface measuring, a kind of portable surface roughness measuring instrument was designed. It can realize precise scan with Y axis and quickly position the work piece to measure location as well as simple adjustment. It can realize 3-D measuring roughness and evaluation of plane and rotary surface. It is small, portable and practical. |
