For the use of tension sensor in field of engineering currently, there is a measuring error bringing by the
friction between tested materials and tension rollers. A technology of tension sensor based on two sensing elements was
proposed, and the structure of this tension sensor was designed. The tension sensor's system components, measurement
principle and method of calculation were introduced. The result indicates that it eliminates the effects of extra friction
through the combination of two sensing elements. and improves the accuracy of measurement. This technology of tension
sensor can be applied in the fields of high precision tension control and measurement. |
